The story of ‘Baby Kevin’

I spent a year trying to track down ‘Baby Kevin,’ the John Doe who was abandoned at birth at a Naples substation back in 1988. I found him, then struggled with the moral dilemma of reaching out to tell his story nearly 30 years later. I’m so glad I did. This is my favorite story to date.

Naples residents were up in arms last summer over the prospect of commercial airline JetBlue possibly scheduling flights to the city’s airport. It was a hot topic for a few weeks, which made JetBlue’s announcement to back out a major one for this deadline story.
