Landed my first front-page centerpiece at The Dispatch — and I didn’t write a thing.
On Sunday, five Dispatch interns collected water samples from lakes at several state parks in Ohio. We sent the samples to a lab that will test for bacteria and certain toxins related to blue-green algae for a story some full-time reporters have been working on. We were each responsible for talking with people visiting at the lakes and taking photos of what we saw. One of my photos made A1 centerpiece today. Pretty exciting. They ran two more on the jump in color.
